This casino was built by the architect Andreu Audet Puig in 1910 and opened in July 1911. It was constructed next to the Hotel de la Rabassada, which opened in 1899. The gambling room was closed on government orders in 1912 but the remaining rooms, the hotel, restaurant and attractions continued to operate until the end of the 1920s.
