Managing a natural site necessarily calls for accurate and constantly up-to-date knowledge of the land. Geographical information tools and tasks are essential for diagnostic and for planning, action and evaluation purposes.
For many years, the Park has had its own geographical information system that supports the various management, natural environment, projects and works, public usage and other units and services, though it is attached organically to the Natural Environment Service. In addition, it provides answers to technical enquiries made by third parties. The main information layers are available here in open formats. You can download them to open them in your own geographical software or view them using ARCGIS on our website.
