Collserola is a Natural Park, not an urban park. That means that it is an area where nature is wild, with its own ecological balance, that is to say, a vital territory for animals and plants that live there, as well as for us.
It is everyone’s responsibility to take care of it, those who visit from time to time as much as those who live nearby. By respecting the rules, we will improve coexistence and guarantee the conservation of habitats. The future of the park is in our hands!
You look after the Park when ...
- You come by public transport as the first option. If you come by private vehicle, drive carefully and don’t park on the verges of fields or on vegetation.
- You avoid unnecessary noise and shouting, so that everyone can enjoy the Park’s tranquillity.
- You take away any refuse you’ve produced, aware of the difficulty involved in emptying rubbish bins in the middle of the Park.
- You respect the properties, farmhouses, churches and elements of heritage.
- You don’t release exotic species that may alter the Park’s ecosystems, and refrain from feeding the wild boar, as it leads to their domestication.
It is essential you respect the rules of good citizenship in the Nature Park!
